This is my second year at West Creek High, and it has been a wonderful experience so far. I graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelors degree in English and a minor in Professional Education. I love to use my personal experiences and personality to build the curriculum that I am provided to make reading, writing, and speaking relatable for all my students. I practice Social Emotional Learning throughout most of my lessons which helps me build personal and mental student connections to my lessons. Beyond the basic state standards, my professional goal is to better understand my students' emotional and educational needs that will help them succeed in and out of school.
