Hello! I have been teaching in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System since 2002, having taught Spanish for the first sixteen years. Now, I am very excited to be teaching ELL. I attended APSU where I earned my BA in World Languages and my MA in Educational Leadership, and Lipscomb University where I received my certification to teach ELL. During my time at APSU, I traveled abroad to Mexico, where I attended classes and stayed with a host family. I understand the challenges of living in an environment where everyone speaks a language different from you. I feel that my strengths lie in strategies for the ELL classroom and providing appropriate scaffolding to support my students.
