Hello! I'm Ms. C and I am so excited to have you in my class! I went through this exact program in high school at Kenwood High, which created a baseline for important skills I have acquired throughout my career. After graduating, I attended Austin Peay State University, where I received my degree in Broadcast Media and Journalism. I've had the opportunity to work with Austin Peay Athletics as a Creative Media Assistant, and now Freelance Photographer, with a few other roles in between. I was mainly in charge of in game photography, videography, and social media, and promotional photoshoots for all of Austin Peay's sports. I also have my own photography business! I am so excited to share my love for photography and videography with you this year!

  1. Be on time.
  2. Be prepared.
  3. Listen to all instructions.
  4. Know and follow all school procedures and rules.
  5. Handle all equipment with the utmost care.
  6. Follow the 3 keys to success in my class and your  future career: Professionalism: Staying Professional is important to maintaining a job. If you are not professional in everything you do, you could lose your job. Being professional is also important in the classroom because of the amount of expensive equipment that you will be around on a daily basis. If you break it you buy it! Teamwork: Working together as a unit is imperative to all aspects of this class and your future career. Everyone will have to work with someone at some point in their life. You may not like that person, but you deal with it professionally and get the task done. Being a good teammate is more than just being nice. It's doing your part to help the overall final product and carrying your weight in terms of your workload. Deadlines: This one is as simple as it gets. Turn in your work on time. In the real world, if you don't complete an assignment, you won't be there long. Train yourself to complete your projects and assignments within the parameters of the rubric or instructions, and always make sure it is completed within the specified window of time.
