My name is Mrs. Gutierrez, but my students call me Mrs. G. I am excited to teach at WCHS, Algebra 2, Honors Algebra 2, and Honors Precalculus classes. I have Master’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from Belarus State University; have been at CMCSS for over 15 years, teaching AP Calculus BC and AB, AP Physics 1, Honors Precalculus, and Algebra 2 in various schools at CMCSS. I enjoy teaching and learning Mathematics and Physics and am looking forward each year to meet my new students and teach them to have the same passion for Mathematics and Science, and the love for life-long learning.
My classroom rules and expectations are as follows:
- Be prompt.
- Be prepared.
- Be respectful of others and school property.
- Follow all WCHS policies.
In my class, it is important for all students to follow the classroom/school rules and procedures. Disruptions to the learning environment not only make it difficult for the teacher to teach, but they also make it difficult for the other students to learn. If needed, I will follow my classroom consequences.
1st offense is parent contact.
2nd documented offense students will receive a discipline referral.
Students will access various digital resources through Canvas
