I'm entering my 11th year of teaching at West Creek. I am originally from New Jersey where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Physics from The College of New Jersey. I married into Tennessee while in graduate school and my path has brought me here. I'm looking forward to our year together as we delve into the mysteries of the universe studying physics.

As we approach the new school year, I want to welcome all my new students to physics and express how much I'm looking forward to this year.

As tax free weekend is always before we start, I'd like to share what supplies I recommend you have as the year starts.  This list applies both to standard and AP Physics:

-A stylus. We will do most of our work using OneNote on our laptops.  OneNote allows the opportunity to directly write in our documents and a stylus will make this task easier

-A set of Dry-Erase Markers. While doing lab work, we will often be using whiteboards to sketch plans, collect data and prepare questions for group discussion.

-Index cards Unit tests will allow a 3x5 notecard for reference.

-Pencil. Please avoid using pen, physics is a class where we all will have to erase sometimes.

Feel free to reach out before the year begins if you have any questions.

  1. We will RESPECT each other
  2. We will arrive on time, prepared, and ready to learn.
  3. We will follow the teacher's instructions.
  4. We will abide by WCHS rules
